PLCL thread is developed to combine the advantages and reduce the weaknesses of the current lifting thread materials, PDO, PCL, and PLLA. 

 

Although PDO, PLLA, and PCL threads are all great thread lifting materials, there are some weaknesses of each such as: short biodegradation period of PDO therad, feeling of discomfort of PLLA thread, and weak anchoring power of PCL thread due to its flexibility.

 

PLCL is the optimal choice for thread lifting with long biodegradation period, no feeling of discomfort, and strong anchoring power.
